As any self-respecting Delhi will tell you, the Red Fort-Ring area of   the Ring Road was originally a part of the river. When the Ring Road was Yamuna River. It has been said that you can catch fish from the Red Fort windows. After some time in 1857 the river changed, which flowed eastwards.

The polluted river now flows away from the fort, and not only separates from the ring road, but is also different from a green ribbon consisting of monuments of Mahatma Gandhi, including Mahatma Gandhi on Rajghat.

The back of the fort is now surrounded by grounds and greens, the Delli Walk Park. Removing the name from the slogan given by Nationalist leader Subhash Chandra Bose, in 2003, the garden was demolished by Jagmohan, the then Union Tourism and Culture Minister.

Until then, it seemed almost outrageous. It was a site for demonstrations, and the site for the thief market, where you could get everything from old gramophone to car tires and to negotiate.

Today, the doors of the park are closed for security reasons. You all see that scores of grass, trees, benches, dry fountains, a couple of policemen, and pigeons score. And, of course, you can spot a gardener or two. I greeted the lady wearing a red sari who wears grass. It was in the evening, and she was going home with her little girls in a nearby slum.

There is Vijay Ghat in front of the park, which is a memorial of Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, which is a popular destination for the city's romantic couples, which are far away from the scenes here.

Decades ago, Delli Chao Park was a mosquito-infected bog that was seen by homeless people. "I have cleared the area between Ring Road and Red Fort as the Administrator of Delhi in my memoirs" - Dharam Veera was the Chief Commissioner of the Capital during the 1960s and was also the Chief Secretary of Prime Minister Jawaharlal. Nehru.

Red Fort

After landing in a park long before long, this cordial area will be later branded as inaccessible India, which was appealing to foreign tourists looking down below the fort. About the Red Fort in the 1960s, Delhi's old crawler, R.V. Smith says, "During the day, nomads were taken away."

Some strollers used to wear ropes and used to adhere to some of their demonic monkeys and bears. Hello salute to the excited foreigners watching from the Red Fort. "Smith says that tourists take pictures as tips in currency notes wrapped in tips.

Some contemporary tourists are aware of this side of the story. However, they only need parallel lanes of the ring road. You will still hear the traffic, but still the area is covered with silent: Taming is just a few miles away from the city.
